Monique Riddick
Chief, Commercial Enforcement Division, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)

Monique Riddick started her career with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) in 2010. Before that, she worked in corporate America in the relocation/moving industry for many years. Currently, she is the Chief of the Commercial Enforcement Division in the Office of Safety. In this role, she is responsible for implementing the Household Goods (HHG) Program and overseeing brokers, freight forwarders and automobile haulers. She establishes priorities to ensure consumer protection goals are accomplished and to induce compliance by HHG motor carriers and brokers to combat moving fraud. Mrs. Riddick was a writer of the HHG Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and the HHG Final Rule, with an effective date of June 27, 2022. The HHG Final Rule enforcement began on November 1, 2022.

Mrs. Riddick received several awards during her tenure with FMCSA, including the Secretary’s Team Award, Administrator’s Safety Achievement Award, Administrator’s Superior Achievement Award, and the Administrator’s Headquarters Employee of the Year Award.

Mrs. Riddick is a graduate of Howard University, married to Johnny Riddick, Esquire; they have an adult daughter, Justine Riddick, Esquire.
